The AXIS 211 network camera, with vari-focal auto iris lens, is ideal for professional IP-based indoor and outdoor monitoring and security surveillance applications. Boasting the industry's largest application support, it has built-in web server, Power over Ethernet (802.3af compliant), motion detection, advanced event handling, and delivers superior video quality at up to 30 fps in full VGA 640x480 resolution. In addition the AXIS 211 is upgradeable to MPEG-4 supporting Advanced Simple profile. The MPEG-4 implementation works simultaneously with the Motion JPEG which is ideal for recording. The MPEG-4 is fully standards compliant with transportation under RTP/RTSP for multicast operation.
